The Office of First-Year 项目 plays a crucial role in 支持ing the transition of first year students at Lindenwood University. The Office of First-Year 项目 services all students in their first year at Lindenwood. First-Year 项目 helps to 支持 students early on in their Lindenwood journey. The office provides guidance and resources to help students navigate their initial steps in college, specifically through a New Student Orientation hosted each semester. In addition, First-Year 项目 houses student led initiatives such as First-Year Council, Sophomore Council, and the First-Generation Collegians student group. We recognize that transitioning to college can be overwhelming, so the First-Year 项目 office organizes social events and activities to help students connect with peers. 整体, the Office of First-Year 项目 provides essential resources, 支持, and a sense of community to help students thrive during this critical transition period.

Lindenwood University First-Year 项目 has partnered with Innovative Educators to bring to our students some really exciting resources. One of these resources is called StudentLingo. StudentLingo is a fully hosted series of 50 online student success 研讨会 designed to 支持 student learning, personal growth, and health & 健康. Topics include Time Management, Stress Management, Study Skills, How To Take Tests Online and more. All 50 研讨会 are closed captioned in English & Spanish, include resources & activities, and have certificates of completion. You and your students can access any of these modules by logging into our single sign-on First-Year 项目 Hub.
